West Troodos Loop
One of the most special routes in the heart of Troodos forest with high-quality, completely empty roads, numerous amazing climbs, and descents, featuring an eccentric cafe stop experience at the forest ranger station. Unbelievable scenery, air thick with the aroma of pinewoods, birds, and cicadas playing their symphonies just for you make a dream combination that will make you think you are in cycling heaven!
Santa Barbara Loop
This is a short ride from Aphrodite Hills straight into the hilltops behind the Asprokremmos Dam. Small roads that are bending around rocky terrain, provide amazing views of the Dam and the mountainous background. From there, the road system splits in many different directions so this route may as well be just the beginning of a longer adventure into the hills and further mountains.
Paphos to Troodos Loop via Aphrodite's Rock
The route starts at Aphrodite Hills and heads straight into Diarizos riverbed. The road climbs gently with single digit gradients but shortly after about 25 km it starts climbing into higher mountains with gradients varying from 7% to 12% but remaining below 10% for most of the ride. After the significant climb is done, you will enjoy views of Olympus, the highest peak in Cyprus and experience fast descents as well as shorter climbs towards the seacoast. On the way back to Aphrodite Hills there are some double-digit short climbs followed by a long descent towards Aphrodite's birthplace locally known as “Petra Tou Romiou”. We promise that this unforgettable ride along the coast will help you forget your aching legs!
